VBR: Install Veeam Backup & Replication (v12) locally

In order to install VBR locally, you need over 25 GB free space (the installer notifies you if this is not met), and the .iso file of the installation DVD. This can be downloaded from the SP console with a reseller account.

If the .iso was downloaded from the SP console, the default location of the file is %ProgramData%/Veeam/Veeam Availability Console

Note: minimum system requirements are 2 vCPUs, and 8 GB RAM. 

Mount the .iso and run Setup.exe.

Click Install

Choose Install Veeam Backup & Replication

Accept the License Agreement

Select the license file. 

Note: if you install VBR without a license, it will run in Community edition mode. You can get a license from VSPC, by a reseller account in the VCSP pulse plugin.

You can customize settings, the default can be seen on the screenshot below.

Click install and wait till the installation finishes. (This can take a longer time.)
