Create company in VSPC (VBM365) (DE)

Log on to the Service Provider console with your Reseller user.

Choose the Companies menu and click on the +New button.

Follow the wizard to create the new company.

Give the details of the customer. (Name and login alias are the only important fields.)

At the Company Type menu, choose Native, because we do not use vCloud Director.

You need to provide a username and a password for the new company's admin. The Site can be chosen from the drop-down menu.

On the Services tab, scroll to Microsoft 365 and click on the toggle to enable the service.

Next to Backup server, click Configure, choose the backup server and give it a friendly name.

Next to Backup repository, click on Configure.

Choose the backup server as the proxy.

Choose Jet database as the repository type.

Choose the repository available to your reseller account.

Optionally, give a user quota to limit how many M365 users this company can backup.

When you are done, click Apply then click Next.

At the Billing menu point, you can create and choose the subscription plan you’d like to assign to the customer. Choose No billing if you don't use the console for invoicing your customers.

At the Bandwidth menu, you can set a limit to the traffic the customer would be creating.

At the Multi-Factor Authentication menu, you can enable MFA login for your customer for the SP console.

In the notifications menu, you can set up a Welcome email for your customer.

On the Summary screen you can review your settings. Click Finish to create the new company.

Wait until the new company is in an Active state, then check this article to continue with setting up the connection to the M365 organization of the customer.
